Long-term volunteers who are interested in volunteering at the school for six months or longer can take a look at the open position(s) below.  There are a variety of benefits provided to long-term volunteers, including free room & board, cross-cultural experience, administrative skills, and more!

Willingness and ability to live and work in a rural area of Tanzania

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONs (All positions)

Bachelor's Degree

 

Volunteer or work experience in Tanzania

 

Basic knowledge of Swahili

Director of special projects
"MKURUGENZI WA kitengo maalum"

The director of special projects is responsible for planning and implementing women’s entrepreneurial projects and students' clubs, and activities.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to network with others

  • Ability to effectively and efficiently implement and supervise extra-curricular projects

  • Adaptable to remote work

  • Excellent communication and writing skills

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience engaging women and children in activities
